At Calibre Strength and Fitness, we offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to your fitness journey: from engaging and fun group fitness sessions and personalised one-on-one training with Chris, available at both our community-focused Calibre gym and the all-encompassing Invictus gym (PT only for Invictus), to specialised programs including pre and post-natal training, custom nutrition plans, and lifestyle coaching. Our mission is to provide a supportive, inclusive environment where every member can achieve their health and fitness goals, backed by over 30 years of industry expertise

Our Services

If someone is struggling with excess body fat and is short on time, where do they turn?

The answer is not to be found in your gym’s “cardio area,” but on the other side of the gym where you’ll find the barbells, dumbbells, and squat racks.

You may be surprised at this revelation, but weight training is the most effective way to lose weight/body fat…... and THAT is what Calibre is all about.

The Calibre program is small group (max 8ppl) training offering two (2) styles of class, Body Composition Training (B.C.T.) and High Intensity Resistance Training (H.I.R.T.). B.C.T. is a high-volume session focussing on weight training. H.I.R.T is going to HURT, it is high volume resistance with interval cardio. Calibre is efficient on time, fun, builds incredible work capacity, and can burn fat and build muscle at the same time.

What type of results can you expect from the Calibre program?

 

Most men can expect to drop 0.5 percent of body fat per week while gaining muscle. As for women, it’s not uncommon for a woman with 16 percent body fat to go down to 9 percent within 12 weeks… and by the way, these results can often be achieved without drastically changing your diet.

Calibre will help you build strength and muscle while burning maximum fat for a leaner, healthier look. So let the others go “breathe and move” with cardio, but if you want to lose fat, and lose it fast, try pumping some iron with Calibre. See you in the garage soon!
